Terms of Service

By inviting, interacting with, or using Mataru (the "Bot") in any Discord server, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Bot.

Server owners and administrators who add the Bot are responsible for ensuring members in their server are aware of these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

You must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your region) to use Discord and this Bot.

You agree not to:

- Use the Bot for harassment, abuse, spam, or illegal activity - Attempt to exploit, reverse engineer, overload, or disrupt the Bot or its infrastructure - Use the Bot to violate any applicable law or third-party rights - Circumvent moderation, antinuke, or security features without authorization - Resell, sublicense, or falsely represent affiliation with the Bot's developers

We reserve the right to restrict or revoke access to the Bot for any user or server that violates these Terms.

When adding Mataru to a server, you grant the permissions requested by the OAuth invite. You are responsible for configuring roles and channel permissions appropriately. We are not liable for actions taken by the Bot when configured with permissions you have granted.

Premium features may require payment or activation codes. By purchasing or redeeming premium:

- You agree to any pricing and billing terms presented at the time of purchase - Refunds are handled at our discretion unless required by applicable law - Fraudulent transactions may result in immediate revocation of premium access without refund - Premium perks are licensed for use with Mataru only and may not be transferred

Abuse of premium features may result in removal of access without refund.

The Bot is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation. Use of moderation and security features does not guarantee protection from all raids, nukes, or abuse.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developers of Mataru shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, server content, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Bot.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Bot at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms or for operational reasons. You may remove the Bot from your server at any time.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Bot after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
